WRITING SOFTWARE

THE GREAT THING IS MOST COMPUTER SOFTWARE IS VERY INEXPENSIVE & SOME IS FREE.

MY FIRST COMPUTER in the early 1980's was an Epson Apex 100 which only had two 512 Kilobyte floppy disc drives and no hard drive. It cost about $700.00 US dollars. It had no monitor or printer. When I bought a monitor and a printer the the total cost was about $1,200 US dollars.

WRITING SOFTWARE SUGGESTIONS

1. Libre Office: available for Windows or Linux at:
https://www.libreoffice.org/

This office suite today is FREE and is an incredibly good program to write, draw and create spreadsheets, It can even create databases.

The FREE book The Constriction Prison   downloadable from this site was written and edited originally with Open Office and when I found Libre Office I switched to it.

2. The Gimp: available Windows or Linux at:   https://www.gimp.org/ Is outstanding for manipulating images. When one wants images published or upload them to a website, it is essential for the image to appear professional. The GIMP can be used to make incredible images with strong impact qualities.
